I know what you’re thinking… “But they just fill u I know what you’re thinking… “But they just fill up on the dessert food!”

It feels backwards.

Offering sweet foods along side other foods allows for a neutral exposure. When we restrict certain foods, kids become fixated on them. Studies have found that restricting access to certain foods can increase the child’s desire and intake of those foods when available.

When dessert is just … part of the meal?
The food loses its power.

No more bribing
No more bargaining
No obsession

Just food. Cake, strawberries, cucumbers, chicken, yams. All available, all equal.

Over time, kids learn that all foods are available and can listen to their bodies. They eat a bite of cake, and then cucumber, then chicken and maybe back to cake.

You don’t need another article, trend, or influenc You don’t need another article, trend, or influencer who isn’t a dietitian telling you what to eat.
You need to connect with your body.

The kind of awareness you only build by slowing down and asking:

→ Am I actually hungry?
→ Did that meal keep me satisfied?
→ How do I feel a couple hours later?

The internet can give you endless opinions (and supplement discount codes).

But it can’t build self-trust for you.

That part starts with you.
